About Us...

Stepping out in faith, the Covel Baptist Food Pantry opened in the fall of 2019. As a 501c3 nonprofit, we serve Wyoming County, WV and fringes of McDowell, Mercer and Raleigh counties. We are affiliated with both the Mountaineer Food Bank (Gassaway, WV) and the Facing hunger Food Bank (Huntington, WV). Ninety percent of all food is provided through donations.

We serve an average of 650 to 800 people each month and provide clothing (through our Harvest House) to almost 200 people per month.

But nothing would happen without our army of volunteers!
